Calais is a city on the northeast coast of France.  It's a port city and the closest place in continental Europe to England.  On most days, from a couple of capes, you can see the white cliffs of the English coast.

I've been to Calais twice.  The first time was on a short weekend trip with my family.  The second time was on a photographic day-trip with my friend Justin.  Here are the results of those two visits.
